Author's Notes: It has been the oddest thing but in the past week I’ve just been captivated by the tale of the Halo video game series again and it’s been playing on my mind. I saw the trailer for Halo: Reach and since have just wanted to write what I saw in it down; meaning what I felt would have been going on and what I imagined to happen. The hopeless of it all I just find so heart breaking.

In this I’m simply going from what I know of the plot and the trailer, since I haven’t read Halo: The Fall of Reach so of course, clearly, I may be wrong about things but that’s why I’m happy to call it an individual interpretation of events. Bar for the dialogue, which I tactfully borrowed from the trailer because I think it’s powerful and actually helped me set some kind of structure.

Author's Notes: I’m not quite sure of want I wanted to achieve and maybe that’s more because I’ve never written this paring before, even though I’ve wanted to. I got unnerved by actually writing both characters without writing them so I ended up doing this instead, however even then my intentions where something more. That’s how these things always seem to turn out however, so what can I say or do. I just hope you guys enjoy it at least.

If your wondering about the title… well, I was listening to Patrick Wolf song The Gypsy King and it really inspired me to do this. Salazar travels where he can achieve his dreams where a Gypsy King, I’m guessing, would have traveled where’s best for his people and their dreams, so there you have it. I’m weird like that. Maybe I just shouldn't write stuff when I'm tired and my head hurts, lol.

Author's Notes: Where to begin? Well I suppose this is the initial insight of Princess Zelda when she saw her world fall. I imagine her to have more faith, more plans, but just at the beginning she must be like any other soul… somewhat lost as to what to do. I do hope this depiction of her would seem fitting but I would appreciate any word of advice.

Author's Notes: This song is affecting me in the oddest ways. For example: influencing me to write darker things. Though I love Bellatrix and she deserved some truth for once, rather then the less wicked version I had created of her. Cruel she may have been but she wasn’t this wicked before.
